The Founders

THEEEEHEEE this was so much fun to do!!! like I can't believe how much fun!!! I might do this more.... the founders of HOGWARTS!!! that's right!!! it's fun when you do fan-art of characters that were never really portrayed by movies etc.. and characters that weren't really well-known, gives you sooooo much artistic freedom to kind of do whatever you want you know.... I drew them younger in case you were wondering where the rest of Godric's beard was and why Salazar isn't bald....
So from left to right

Godric Gryffindor: According to JKR he's supposed to have had long mane like hair,... but come on that one would have been a bit obvious so I decided to draw them all when they were a bit younger... I mean they must have been friends long before they finally decided to found Hogwarts right??? Anyway Godric Gryffindor is known to have been the best dueller of his time, and he was an enlightened fighter against Muggle discrimination... AAAW don't we all like him now?
His animal is a lion

Rowena Ravenclaw: fun fun.. probably my fave, and I have the feeling because I enjoyed drawing her so much that I would probably be stuck in Ravenclaw if I were a wizard.... (yes like all of you I'm still waiting for my letter) Anyway, she's supposed to have been extremely beautiful however she's most known for her intelligence and creativity... Ravenclaws all have to solve a riddle to get into their common room instead of just having a password!!!! It's also said that Ravenclaw came up with the never ending floorplan in Hogwarts... HOW FREAKIN COOL!!!
Her animal is the Eagle.... NO NOT A RAVEN....


Helga Hufflepuff: According to the research I did... Helga Hufflepuff is supposed to be a big fat woman with red curls... LMAO i wasn't going to draw that... again that seemed way too obvious so I decided to go with a really happy girl.... doesn't she look like one of those pple who might be obnoxiously happy all the time??? LOL no I think she looks like a sweetheart She's also well-known for bringing the house-elves to Hogwarts so they got treated better. I did imagine she was shorter than most people which is why she's looking up...
Her animal is the Honey Badger

Salazar Slytherin: Last but not least Salazar... now again, I didn't want to draw the obvious, he couldn't always have been depicted as the bad guy, honestly... they were all friends once upon a time right? That's why they founded Hogwarts in the first place... so I thought... meh maybe he was just REALLY SERIOUS and a little anti-social lol.... I drew him next to Helga Hufflepuff because I figured she'd be the only one to really accept him no matter what.... Salazar was one of the first recorded Parselmouths and an accomplished Legilimens.
His animal is DUH the snake... for those of you that didn't know that... or don't know what i'm talking about *sigh*... go read a book! Harry Potter to be precise....
